Hotel Traube - Medias

The Hotel Traube offers excellent value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. Located in the historical center of Medias, it provides a truly authentic experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making you feel right at home. The rooms have a charming medieval castle ambiance, with painted furniture and a nice view. Additionally, the breakfast is delicious, providing a great start to the day.

The dining room, with its sharp gable and huge windows, rises above the rest of the hotel like a magnificent castle, creating an enchanting ambiance. It feels like stepping into a fairytale.

Access to the hotel by car requires a special card - inconvenient.

This hotel's location in the centre square of the old town is wonderful. The security for vehicles is especially good. Our room was very large and oldy worldy in style but very comfortable. The air con was appreciated as the weather was very hot. A quiet and dignified hotel of the old style but clean and pleasant. The restaurant served excellent evening meals.

The breakfast buffet could have been a little better.

We loved how centrally located the hotel was in this city! Everything was within walking distance, including a beautiful park perfect for small walks. We also appreciated the free parking available inside the courtyard of the hotel. The room was spacious, with beautiful traditional Saxon furniture and numerous antiques throughout the hotel. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. it was a great experience.

Spent Easter weekend at a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming pedestrian area. The hotel was located close to all the city sights and the room was clean and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and attentive during our entire stay. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and were pleasantly surprised by the Easter-themed treats provided by the hotel. The hotel also had its own parking area which was a major plus.

The only thing that was not up to our expectations was the limited variety of options in the breakfast buffet, but we understand that this could be due to. However, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in the city center.

While navigating the traffic restrictions in the city center can be a bit difficult, the hotel is right in the center of the oldest part of town. the rooms are spacious and well-decorated with antique furnishings, and the bathrooms are modern and clean. the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is tasty. Plus, if you're lucky, you might have a view of the old city square! the only downside is that it could be tough to find parking in the area.
